Rio de Janeiro State Records Second Coronavirus Death

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On Thursday, March 19th, the Rio de Janeiro State Health Secretariat confirmed the second death by coronavirus. The victim was a 69-year-old man. According to the government press office, the victim lived in Niterói, was diabetic and hypertensive.

He presented the first symptoms, such as fever, cough and myalgia, last March 11th. The victim had contact with an infected person who had traveled abroad.
