Rio de Janeiro to permit stadiums and nightclubs at 50% occupancy in September

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes and the city's Health Secretary Daniel Soranz announced Thursday (29) they would relax restriction measures against Covid-19.

The plan, titled "Rio again, a year of reunions," is divided into three phases and was classified as "conservative" by the mayor and the secretary. When they begin will depend on the inoculation deemed necessary by the secretariat for each phase.
