RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Beginning Monday, March 14th, Audio Rebel in Botafogo will host the first edition of its Convida series. With cultural producer Chico Dub serving as curator for the inaugural edition, the series will feature performances of contemporary music, free improvisation, sound installations, dance performances and a discussion with Brazilian and international artists.

Kicking off the series on yesterday, the Abstrai Ensemble performed live. Created 2005, the Abstrai Ensemble is known for combining traditional instruments including vocals, flute, sax, clarinet, guitar, piano, violin . . .
