Brazilian Singer Anitta Makes it Onto TIME’s list “The 10 Best Songs of 2019”

The magazine also complimented "Brazil's greatest pop star," adding that the track "Rosa" carries traditional Latin rhythms within a contemporary context.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Singer, songwriter, and actress Anitta has achieved another feat in the rise of her international career. She is the only Brazilian on the "TIME" magazine's ten best songs of 2019 list, selecting tracks released between January and May of this year.

Her song "Rosa", resulting from Anitta's partnership with the American Prince Royce, was described as "trip-hop where the singer makes the most of her seductive voice, singing in a Spanish dispensing translation."

The magazine also complimented "Brazil's greatest pop star," adding that the track "carries traditional Latin rhythms . . .
