Brazil’s drag entertainer Pabllo Vittar is confirmed on the new Lady Gaga album

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Pabllo Vittar was the Brazilian chosen to participate in Lady Gaga’s new and long-awaited album. The confirmation was made on Wednesday, 11, by her council. The singer will be heard in the new version of the song “Fun Tonight”, which Gaga will release in May 2020.

The single is part of the new work of the American “Chromatica”, the release of which has not yet been determined. The album will also feature Bree Runway, Grimes, Arca, and Charli XCX.

“It’s a dream come true to be involved in such an incredible project for the pop universe and with one of the most important artists today,” Pabllo celebrated.

In June, Maranhão-born Pabllo Vittar released “Batidão Tropical,” featuring forró and tecnobrega songs that shaped her childhood.

Vittar appeared on TV for the first time in 2014, on a Brazilian talent singing show, performing “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston.

With the nomination of “Sua Cara” at the 19th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, Vittar became the first Grammy-nominated drag queen.

She also became the first drag queen to win an EMA award in its 25-year run for Best Brazilian Act.
