Carnaval 2022 in Brazil’s Salvador depends on first dose of vaccination against Covid-19

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The holding of the Carnaval in Salvador in 2022 is conditional on the population being vaccinated with at least the first dose of the vaccine against Covid-19.

Speaking to the press on Tuesday, July 27, during the announcement of measures to promote the destination of Salvador through the Road Show Salvador 2021, the mayor of Salvador, Bruno Reis (DEM), said that it would probably not be possible to say anything more specific until the end of the year.
