Império Serrano Samba School Ready for Rio’s 2019 Carnival

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – On Sunday, March 3rd, samba school Império Serrano will once again open the first evening of Carnival parades from the Grupo Especial for Rio’s 2019 Carnival. Scheduled to begin at 9:15 PM, the group will present their ‘samba enredo’ (thematic samba composition) along the theme of the classic Brazilian song ‘O que é, o que é?’ by composer Gonzaguinha.
