União da Ilha Samba School Ready for Rio 2019 Carnival

This year, the school will be paying homage to the Brazilian state of Ceará and two of its most famous icons, José de Alencar and Rachel de Queiroz.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On the evening of Monday, March 4th, samba school G.R.E.S. União da Ilha do Governador will compete in the Grupo Especial with their parade scheduled to begin at 12:30 AM.
