Lavradio Jazz Fest to Play in Rio’s Centro During Carnival

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - This Saturday, Rua do Lavradio, in Centro, opens the "Lavradio Jazz Fest", free festival dedicated to New Orleans' most typical music genre. Until Tuesday, February 13th, the event will promote two daily shows, always at 1PM and 4PM, in front of samba house Santo Scenarium.

Already in its sixth edition, the Lavradio Jazz Fest is inspired by New Orleans' "Mardi Grass" (or "Shrove Tuesday"), one of the most important Carnival celebrations in the world.
