RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Pabllo Vittar performed during an event at the United Nations (UN) headquarters in New York, on Tuesday night, June 18th. The drag queen held a pocket show for about 20 minutes, where she featured some of her hits, such as “Problema seu” and “Corpo sensual”.

After the performance, Pabllo celebrated the feat in her Instagram. “Thank you United Nations and Global Citizen for inviting me. It was an honor. There will be queers at the UN, oh yes,” she wrote. Later, Pabllo was praised by Preta Gil (“Now you’ve gone too far. Proud”) and Mateus Carrilho (“So proud, it’s overwhelming”).
According to the artist’s promoters, Pabllo took part in one of the events entitled “The Queen’s Birthday Party” under the topic of “equality and inclusion”, to celebrate the official birthday of Queen Elizabeth II, as well as bringing to light the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising – a series of demonstrations by the LGBT community against the invasion by New York police of the Stonewall Inn bar.
