Paul McCartney Makes Millions in Brazil and Argentina

With the recent concerts in São Paulo, the former Beatle entered for the thirty-fifth time at the top of Boxscore's list, and the combined performances appear in ninth place with the the most profitable shows of his career.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Fans from Brazil and Argentina have left Paul McCartney incredibly wealthy, as demonstrated by the numbers of the former Beatle's South American tour.

According to the Billboard Boxscore, McCartney's June 23 concert in Argentina earned him R$ 20 million (US$ 5.4 million), while concerts in São Paulo on July 26 and 27 earned him  R$ 33 million (US$ 8.7 million). In Curitiba, the gross earnings were of R$ 14 million (US $ 3.7 million).
