Rio’s Governor Misleads on Doctorate Degree From Harvard, says Globo

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The former federal judge and governor of Rio, Wilson Witzel, holds at least seven degrees in his academic history.

In the Lattes curriculum - a platform in which professionals list achievements throughout their careers - he lists undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at several universities.

Attendance at the prestigious Harvard is one of the highlights: there, Witzel would have taken a sandwich course (when one attends part of a doctorate course at an international educational institution that is a partner of the university where one studies).
