Lá no Meu Open Bar @ Teatro Odisséia (Lapa) – One of Lapa’s favorite open bar events, this party will be serving up plenty of funk, pop, hip hop plus all the latest hits.
There will also be free glitter, shots, and an open bar featuring Amstel, Budweiser, caipirinhas and much more. DJs for the night are DJ Julio Himself (Baile do Odisseia / I Love The 90s) plus special guests.
Tickets are between R$35 – R$80 and the night gets going at 11PM.

LIVE:
Jazz @ The Maze (Catete) – Since 2005, every first Friday of the month is the most traditional jazz night in Rio de Janeiro, courtesy of The Maze. For six consecutive years they have been listed by Downbeat magazine as one of the 150 best Jazz venues in the world.
Tonight will feature the usual high-quality live jazz plus authentic Indian food courtesy of ‘Hoje tem curry,’ plus one of the best views of Rio.
Tickets are between R$40-R$50 and the night starts at 10PM.

Jukebox Na Esquina @ Esquina Da Democracia (Lapa) – This is a great place to unwind on a Friday at a prime location in Rio’s party district of Lapa.
There’ll be music from Cici Jukebox, plus excellent beers, cocktails, snacks and more.
This free event starts at 7PM.

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.

Pavão Azul (Copacabana)
Pavão Azul is a lively bar in Copacabana, famous for its exceptionally cold beers and prawn pastels. It gets crowded there every night, making every day of the week seem like the weekend.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Blue Agave Ipanema is always a great place for Mexican food, drinks and for watching live sport streams and broadcasts. Just around the corner from Posto 9, the bar is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and crowd which frequents the establishment. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
