CasaBloco @ Casa França-Brasil (Centro) – On this first night of CasaBloco, they are proud to announce the participation of Brazilian superstar, Geraldo Azevedo, plus the participation of one of the coolest blocos in Carnival, Amigos da Onça.

DJ Lala K will also be playing a set to keep the crowd dancing through the night. There will also be plenty of Carnival products to buy and some of the best Brazilian gastronomy.

Tickets are between R$25-R$50 and the night gets going at 9:30PM.

RockBash @ Casa da Matriz (Botafogo) – This is the tenth edition of RockBash, bringing a lot of rock and roll to Casa da Matriz! RockBash is a rock festival, with rock of all kinds, going through all the decades. Their mission is simple, to get you to dance, to sing and not to leave the dancefloor.

The promotion of the night is two-for-one on artisan chope beer until midnight. There will also be free shots throughout the club, tattoos on the second floor, Karaoke on the second floor, an arcade room with ping-pong and pinball and much more!

Tickets are available from R$15 – R$40 and the night gets going at 11:30PM.

AfroRave @ Bar do Nanam (Centro) – Based on the concept of Afrofuturism, the AfroRave was created by lovers of African music, art and culture. Tonight they invite you to a Afrofuturist musical night, on a journey through the rich African tapestry of sounds.

The party is set to feature guests such as Techno Kuduro, Electronic Highlife, Guetto Makosa, Afro House, Yorubeats, and many more.

This free event begins at 11PM.

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.
