Afoxé Filhos de Gandhi (Centro) – One of the most traditional Afro Brazilian cultural groups in Rio, Afoxé Filhos de Gandhi performs this evening in front of their headquarters, in Centro.

Afoxé Filhos de Gandhi will be warming up for Carnival 2018, presenting the best from the Afro Brazilian rhythms, like ijexá and jongo.

CHAMA (Palaphita Gávea) – Tonight, Palaphita Gávea hosts the CHAMA party, starting from 9PM.

The event will promote the best of Brazilian funk and rap music with MC Luccas Carlos and group Os Hawaianos.

MÚSICA BRASILEIRA:
Forró de Bamba (Lapa) – Tonight, Clube dos Democráticos, in Lapa, will host the famous Forró de Bamba dos Democráticos, at 10PM.

Group Mala e Cuia will be starring at 11:30 PM, while singer Edson Duarte will go up on the stage at 1:30 AM. DJ Messias will be spinning in the intervals.

Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.
