Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra @ Theatro Municipal (Centro) – For an atmospheric and stirring start to the week, come and see the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra led by their acclaimed maestro Benjamin Zander.

You’ll be able to hear fantastic renditions of Wagner’s classic “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg”, the “Piano Concerto No. 2” by Rachmaninoff, and Shostakovich’s “Symphony No 10 in E minor, Op 93”.

Tickets are between R$50 – R$300 and the performance starts at 8 PM.

Drinks N Board @ Arena Topo (Centro) – Board game lovers, why not join the first edition of this fortnightly happy hour with board games, card games, and drinks?

This space has a collection of over 90 games including Catan, War, Poker, Backgammon, Chess, Jenga, Dominoes, Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-OH, Pokemon, and many more. Drinks and gourmet meal combos are a maximum of R$20, and there’s plenty of video games available to play on big screens.

Forró do Trabalhador @ Boate Boas Intenções (Lapa) – Join this unforgettable gathering of musicians and friends of forró, one of the most up-tempo and danceable of Brazil’s many musical genres.

This Monday you’ll be able to dance to Tania Alves, the godmother of Forró do Trabalhador, DJ Marinho Braz, and plenty of special guests.

Tickets available from R$15 – R$20 and the dancing starts at 5 PM.
