glow partyMonday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Every Monday night Guimo’s Pub in Copacabana is hosting the Glow party with black lights, glow sticks, face painting and drinking games, plus free caipirinhas and beer until 12AM.

Additional promotions will include two for one specials on beer, caipirinhas, Cuba Libres, and Sex on the Beach throughout the night. Shots of vodka and tequila will all be distributed during party.

There will also be live samba and DJs Cauê, Angola, Jonatan K, and Rafael Pyro will spin the best of trap, reggaeton, funk, pop, and hip hop.

Cometa (Botafogo)
The instrumental group Cometa will return to perform live tonight at Audio Rebel in Botafogo. Formed in 2014, the group consists of drummer Stephane San Juan, guitarist Guilherme Monteiro, keyboardist Danilo Andrade, bassit Alberto Continentino, and guitarist Kassin.

Rio Boat Club (Lapa)
The one and only Rio Boat Club is back tonight. Things will get started at 11PM with happy hour. Lasting until midnight, drinks will be free for women and there will be two-for-one specials for men. The boat will then leave the Marina at 12:30AM. DJs Ricardo Martins and Bruno Lima will spin the best of house, hip hop, pop, Brazilan funk and reggaeton as the boat makes its way around the Bay with beautiful views of o Pão de Açucar, Cristo, Museu de Arte Contemporânea and the Rio-Niterói bridge.

Guimo’s Glow Party (Copacabana)
The Glow party returns to Guimo’s Pub in Copacabana tonight with black lights, glow sticks, DJs and drinking games. DJs Cauê, Angola, Jonatan K, and Rafael Pyro spinning the best of trap, reggaeton, funk, pop, and hip hop throughout the night. Promotions will include two-for-one specials on beer, caiprinhas, Cuba Libre, and Sex on the Beach all night. Additionally, shots of tequila and vodka will be distributed throughout the party.

Roda de Samba with Rixxa (Lapa)
For a great night of dancing and singing, head to Lapa’s Carioca da Gem. Vocalist Rixxa, accompanied by brilliant percussionists and members of thme Zeca Pagodinho band, will provide three hours of lively samba. Singer and guitarist Cristina Bhering will perform beginning at 7:30PM to open the night.

Lunes Sessions @ Leviano (Lapa)
On Monday nights in March, the Leviano bar in Lapa is presenting Lunes Sessions. Clandestinos, led by Udi Fagundes, will perform their reinterpretations of works by Manu Chao, Chico Science, Jorge Benjor, Bob Marley during the night.

This American-owned restaurant and bar on Copacabana Beach is a great place for food, drinks and entertainment. Additionally, Tony Boka will be playing at Mab’s now every day of the week from 6PM to 10PM. Boka is known for his varied repertoire that always pleases the crowd.

Lord Jim Pub (Ipanema)
Lord Jim Pub in Ipanema is a great place to go for live streaming national and international sports. Promotions during the night include two-for-one specials on Jim’s Lager. Happy Hour is also from 6PM to 8PM on Mondays through Friday.

La Calaca (Leblon)
Thanks to new partner and chef, Gery Lopez, La Calaca in Leblon is now offering a revamped menu. Options once again include the best of authentic Mexican cuisine and drinks with options including tacos, burritos, quesadilhas, corn enhanced with lemon juice, sauces made in house, Platos Fuertes, churros, and more. Lopez joins partners Marcos and Kristen Peixoto, who since Sepetember 2014, have been dedicated to offering gourmet Mexican cuisine in Rio de Janeiro.

Shenanigan’s (Ipanema)
