Hamilton de Holanda e o Baile do Almeidinha @ Circo Voador (Lapa) – Brazilian bandolinist Hamilton de Holanda and El Baile do Almeidinha are back on the eve of the Zumbi de Palmares holiday with a tribute to two great icons of world music, Gilberto Gil and Bob Marley.

If that wasn’t enough, opening for them will be the Brazilian trio of Dub Core, Nuggetz. Tickets are between R$30-R$60 and the night gets going at 10PM.

I Hate Mondays #90 @ Fosfobox (Copacabana) – This is a party to get people excited for the summer, bringing the heat prematurely to the dancefloor of one of Rio’s most inclusive and exciting clubs.

The lineup for the night includes: Marginal Men, BBWJU aka Julliana Araújo, Tago Oli, jaquelone, Bea Ferretti, and Nico.

Tickets are between R$25-R$50 and the party starts at around 11PM.

Tributo The Beatles @ The Rock Bar (Jardim Botânico) – The band the Black Monkees will be presenting a Beatles tribute guaranteed to get everyone onto their feet and dancing and singing along to the most memorable songs from the fab fours’ era-defining career.

Soon after the show, DJ Careca comes into command of the dance floor to make you party until your feet are sore!

This night is free and it starts at 8PM.

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those who aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 6PM and finishes at 8PM.
