PARTY:
BLISS #16 @ Casa da Matriz (Botafogo) – URSAL, the biggest meme of the election season so far has finally arrived for one night in Rio. So now it’s time for everyone to unite for a revolutionary party in the Casa da Matriz!

The first floor dancefloor will be hosting pop, hits, indie and funk. While on the second floor dancefloor there will be karaoke all night long.

Free potato chips will be handed throughout the party to keep the munchies away, and there will also be free shots of catuaba and jurupinga, plus a double shot of catuaba until 2AM. Also look out for craft chopp beer from as little as R$8.

Tickets are between R$10-R$15 and the party should start at 11PM.

Roda de Samba @ Botequim Bate Papo (Leblon) – At Botequim Bate Papo they claim that it is always summer, and with great quality samba, and beer that is especially cold, perhaps they may have a point.

This year they are celebrating their fourth anniversary of success in the south of Rio, so why not be part of this beautiful story?

Tonight the samba will be provided by Grupo Brammasom followed by a DJ set by DJ Alan Carpenter. This will be a lively night out for those looking for some traditional Brazilian good time music.

The night kicks of at 9PM and tickets are between R$15-R$25.

Festa Amo MPB @ Gafieira Elite (Centro) – This Saturday, Gafieira Elite will be hosting a party entirely dedicated to Brazilian music guaranteed to keep the dancefloor packed until the early hours.

Expect plenty of hits from all the best Brazilian icons past and present, including Caetano Veloso, Cazuza, Chico Buarque, Elis Regina, Gal Costa, Giberto Gil, Jorge Ben Jor, Legião Urbana, Los Hermanos, Raul Seixas, Rita Lee, Seu Jorge, Skank, Tim Maia, Titãs and many more!

There’s free entry until 11:30PM (with a voucher, check the event page for more details) and then entry will be going up incrementally from R$15-R$25.

At the bar there’s Heineken for R$5 until midnight, two Skol beats for R$10 and caipirinhas for R$10 to name but a few of the amazing deals.
