Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight, jazz lovers cannot miss the Jazz Ahead party, a tribute to American singer Erykah Badu at Clube dos Macacos, in Horto, at 10PM.
The Texan singer and composer is known for her R&B, neo soul and hip hop music, having won the Grammy Award for the album “Baduizm” in 1997.
New Yorker singer and Rio resident Alma Thomas, along with band Hermenegildo 59, will be in charge of the live music, while DJs Nepal and Gustavo MM will run the dance floor in the intervals.
