Encontro dos Bailes @ Porto Lab (Santo Cristo) – The Encontro dos Bailes night will include the bloco Meu Bloco é Funk, possibly the most famous funk bloco at Carnival.

There will also be music courtesy of Careca (Favela Bass), Anderson America (Baile da Pesada), Ezio Santanna (Encontro dos Bailes), and Rádio Rua (La Cumbia).

Jorge Ben Jor @ Circo Voador (Lapa) – Jorge Ben Jor is back at Circo Voador for a second night with the support of Rio’s Carnival crowd. He will be joined by Bloco Vem Cá, Minha Flor tonight for what is certain to be a spectacular show.

DJ sets will be provided by DJ Marcelinho da Lua.

Tickets are available from R$60 and the show should start at 10PM.

Cordão do Palaphita @ Palaphita (Gávea) – One more big goodbye party to Carnival is taking place at the exclusive Palphita club in Gávea, featuring some of the greatest blocos and stars of Carnival 2019.

Bloco Amigos da Onça will be rocking the night, plus there will be samba courtesy of DDP, and funk from MC Andinho. Until 9PM, there is an open bar with Stella Artois beer and vodka drinks.

Tickets are available from R$30 and the evening kicks off at 7PM.

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Blue Agave Ipanema is always a great place for Mexican food, drinks and for watching live sport streams and broadcasts. Just around the corner from Posto 9, the bar is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and crowd which frequents the establishment.
