PARTY:
Arrastão de Carnaval @ Porto Lab (Santo Cristo) – This is another huge party in one of Santo Cristo’s mega nightclub events, a stationary Carnival bloco featuring some of the biggest names and plenty of music for around seven hours of partying.

The line-up includes OMULU feat. Duda Beat, DJ Gabriel Do Borel, Weird Baile (JLZ e VHOOR), Bia Marques, Jacquelone, João Woo and Fernando Schlaepfer, plus plenty special guests.

Tickets are free until 1AM, subject to availability, otherwise it’s R$10 entry; and the party should start at 1AM.

PARTY:
Puff Puff Bass @ Passeio Ernesto Nazareth (Centro) – Puff Puff Bass are an urban collective who celebrate and disseminate all of the most vital elements of hip-hop culture. This is their bloco party taking place in central Rio this evening.

They’re also looking to make a positive difference and are encouraging people attending this party to donate one school notebook each so that they can distribute school kits to over five thousand underprivileged children throughout Rio de Janeiro. So bring a notebook, have fun, and help expand access to knowledge!

Tickets are free with a donation but must be ordered from the facebook page, and the party starts at 8PM.

Puff Puff Bass – Av Prof. Pereira Reis – Santo Cristo

Auê: Domingo @ HUB RJ (Santo Cristo) – Auê is continuing its huge Carnival program with another massive music and party spectacular, combining the best blocos with top musical artists and DJs. Prepare for another spectacular blow-out this Sunday evening!

The full line-up includes performances from Guid Esser, Ju Perez, Transpira, Freeda Baile Yasmin Vilhena, DUDA BEAT, Johnny Hooker, and Cix.

Things should kick off at 4PM and tickets are available from R$50.

Bar Urca (Urca)
Sunday afternoon drinking whilst eating salgadinhos and watching the sunset at Bar Urca is a regular pastime in Rio de Janeiro. This simple establishment on the bayside has been a hit since 1939.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Just around the corner from Posto 9, Blue Agave Ipanema is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and the international crowd which frequents the establishment. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
