Forró De Rabeca @ Parque Garota de Ipanema (Ipanema) – The Festas Juninas (traditional Brazilian parties in June) are almost here, and to commemorate the end of the first (almost) weekend of June, come and see Forró De Rabeca performing at the family-friendly Garota de Ipanema park in Arpoador.
You’ll also be able to catch the brilliant fiddle playing of special guest, forró composer Claudio Rabeca.
This is a free event that starts at 4 PM, but spectators are encouraged to donate to the musicians’ hat when it is passed around.

FestRioBeer @ Planetário do Rio (Gávea) – Come for the last day of FestRioBeer, a gastronomy and music festival that brings together more than 50 types of craft beers and offers a food court with food trucks, stalls, and various other attractions.
Come for the beer, stay for the music! Today will see a DJ set from DJ Gabriel Gazzaneo at 3 PM and a live performance from Banda Charles Bronson Rio at 7 PM plus workshops and talks.
This festival starts at 3 PM and is free to enter.

Samba das Laranjeiras @ Casa da Polônia (Laranjeiras) – Join in with one of the best traditional samba nights in the city as Samba do Mercado, and DJ João Rodrigo come together to commemorate the last moments of the weekend.
You know you’re in good company as these people are responsible for such top nights as Samba dos Guimarães, Samba e Feijoada da Casa Rosa, Sambinha do Corcovado, Samba da Lagoa, and Sunset Samba.
Tickets are available from R$20 – R$40 and the night starts at 5 PM.
