Bombastic (Lapa) – The Bombastic party will make everyone dance like there is no tomorrow in Lapa.

Nego Álvaro (Maracanã) – The great Nego Álvaro will be gracing the room of Dida Bar e Restaurante with a lively “roda de samba” this Thursday.
Singer, composer, and percussionist, Nego Álvaro, a member of the famous “Samba do Trabalhador”, will perform from 6 PM to 10 PM.

Não Recomendados (Centro) – The amazing “Não Recomendados” will be starring at the stage of BNDES, in Centro.
Composed of three spectacular male vocals, Caio Prado, Diego Morais, and Daniel Chaudon, Não Recomendados is known for their highly-politicized performances, fighting against homophobia and for gender equality through music.

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5 PM and finishes at 8 PM.

Pub Escondido (Copacabana)

Mississippi Delta Blues Bar (Gamboa)
As the name would suggest, this is the place to go in Rio for live American-style blues music. Coupled with a Soul Food-inspired menu (their mac’n’cheese is excellent), plenty of bourbons, crafts beers and a pool table, this place makes for an atmospheric hangout, whether there’s a band playing (and there usually is) or just the jukebox.
