Happening every Thursday, each week they feature a different guest DJ. Tonight come dance to the best psychedelic rock, tropicália, indie, punk and a lot of Irish tunes of course, courtesy of DJ Danilo Alves and DJ Manu.

Choros para Alfredinho @ Casa do Choro (Centro) – Tonight there is another chance to come and pay tribute to a legend of Rio bohemia.
Join a host of excellent musicians for a night of choro in honor of Alfredinho, the late don of Copacabana’s Bip Bip bar. Throughout his three decades at the helm, Alfredinho and Bip Bip have been honored in several songs by numerous composers, and this evening they will be played live in what is sure to be an unforgettable night of Brazilian music.
Tickets are between R$25-R$50 and the night begins at 7 PM.

Noites de Parangolé @ Pavilhão Teatro de Anônimo (Lapa) – This will be a night you won’t forget! Noites de Parangolé have been putting on their show-party-cabaret in Rio since 2008.
Mixing circus, humor, popular theater, projections, and live music, each performance is different, unique, spontaneous, and unpredictable. Prepare for some audience participation as they see each show as a collaboration between performers and spectators.
Tickets are R$20 and the night starts at 8:30 PM.

Mississippi Delta Blues Bar (Gamboa)
As the name would suggest, this is the place to go in Rio for live American-style blues music. Coupled with a Soul Food-inspired menu (their mac’n’cheese is excellent), plenty of bourbons, crafts beers, and a pool table, this place makes for an atmospheric hangout, whether there’s a band playing (and there usually is) or just the jukebox.
