LIVE:
Ultimo Jazz do Ano @ Bar do Nanam (Centro) – Wednesday night is jazz night at Bar do Nanam, down one of the liveliest nocturnal meeting points in the whole of Rio, Beco das Artes.

The hosts for the night, as always, will be drummer Guga Pellicciotti and DJ Rodrigo Cavalcanti, who will be both playing music themselves and inviting various musicians and DJs to participate in a wonderfully diverse and vibrant evening of music, dance and fun.

This night should begin at around 8PM and entry is free. Bar do Nanam politely asks that revellers purchase their drinks from the bar and also contibute to the musicians’ hat when it is passed around from time to time.

PARTY:
Moderninha Pré Réveillon @ Barzin Rio (Ipanema) – Already in the final stretch of 2018, Barzin Rio are going to throw the last edition of one of their most popular nights with a super special edition or Moderninha with a live ‘Pop Rock Show’ and then DJ sets from DJs João Rodrigo and Sardinha.

There will be drinks promotions on the second floor, such as a Budweiser bucket (six for R$49) and gin for R$20 until 11PM. The resident DJ will begin by warming up the night and setting the groove, then it will be time for the ‘Pop Rock Show’ to play the best of R.E.M, The Strokes, The Killers, Oasis, Black Keys, and more! And finally, DJ João Rodrigo and Sardinha will be playing the best of world pop and rock until the early hours.

Tickets are between R$20-R$50 (cash only) and the night gets going at 10PM.

Happyokê @ The Rock Bar (Jardim Botânico) – This is a night of ‘Happyokê,’ combining happy hour with karaoke, with the help of André Spring and the Kariocante band.

Opening an hour earlier than usual, The Rock Bar promises a special happy hour with two-for-one on Heineken, Jack Daniel’s and Moscow Mules until 10PM. The evening will start with a performance by André Spring, who will play some classic rock covers. Then it will be time for the Kariocante Band, who will be playing live karaoke backing for anyone who dreams of being a rock star for one night.
