Sexteto Sucupira @ Fundição Progresso (Lapa) – Head to Lapa’s cultural headquarters of Fundição Progresso for Sexteto Sucupira.
This ever-revolving live forró night will be inviting two exciting acts for you to practice your best forró moves to, Cláudio Rabeca and Trio Ventura.
Tickets are between R$15 – R$20, and doors open at 8:30 PM.

Local Beatz @ Fosfobox (Copacabana) – If you’re a tourist, backpacker, or traveling through Rio, then this is the club night for you.
Fosfobox will be bringing together gringos and locals in a heady mix while their resident DJs play the best hip-hop, funk, reggaeton and pop all night long. Plus there are all-you-can-drink caipifrutas from 11 PM until midnight.
Tickets are between R$30-R$50 and the club opens at 11 PM.

Choro da Glória @ Boteco Pé de Santa (Santa Teresa) – Come up the hill this Wednesday for a “roda” (circle) of Choro da Glória at Boteco Pé de Santa with guests Rodrigo Milek and Diego Terra.
Held in a beautiful outdoor space, with cold beer and friendly people, this is the perfect place to get acquainted with live choro music. Choro is a quintessentially Brazilian genre of music similar to samba and perfect for a relaxed Wednesday evening in the hills.
The evening begins at 7 PM, and a donation of R$5-R$10 is suggested.

Flashback (Ipanema)
Flashback is a high-end restaurant with plenty of classical music and photos decorating the walls.
