With musicians from São Paulo’s most diverse corners, the band stands out for embracing black music genres ranging from ska, rocksteady, and dub to jazz and afrobeat.

Balaio Groove (Centro) – Balaio Groove happens tonight at Casa de Aruanda with the promise of playing the best black music of all time.
Casa de Aruanda is located at Praça Roosevelt, one of São Paulo’s true benchmarks, gathering the city’s most authentic tribes, from skaters to alternative theater actors.
DJs Lais Oliveira, Rosi Belisário, Thaisa Regina, and Cibelle de Paula will run the party until the late hours.

Samba da Luz (Centro) – For live samba music in one of São Paulo’s most traditional regions, head to Samba da Luz this Friday.
Group Samba do Urso will be running the “roda de samba” at Casa da Luz, an art gallery next to the beautiful Luz metrô station. DJ David Carneiro plays during the breaks.
