Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Get out your best green threads and shamrocks for the special St. Patrick’s Day party at Lapa Irish Pub. The party will be pretty much going all day beginning at 1PM and continuing through the night. Starting at 2AM, all pints of Guiness will be two for one!

Located under the arches, the Lapa Irish Pub attracts a diverse audience, particularly drawing those who love good beer and music. The venue sports a fun, Irish inspired decor, filled with photos, sofas and comfortable armchairs. The bar serves a variety of specialty beers from all over as well as classic traditional dishes such as Irish stew and fish and chips.


Mombojó (Lapa)
Mombojó plays tonight at Circo Voador. This rock ‘n roll band hails from Recife, Pernambuco [in the North East of Brazil]. The band has participated in many festivals and shows in Brazil as well as releasing four CDs since 2004.
