Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The Rio Times MixUp is back, this time aimed at writers, authors, screenwriters, journalists, publishers and film producers. Hosted at the popular eatery, the Gringo Café, the Rio Writer MixUp is a great opportunity for like minded people to get together and discuss the status of the industry, share interests, talk about the writing process, as well as help navigate the business in both Rio and internationally.
The event will be attended by a group of successful authors, producers and journalists, including local film production company Greengo Films, who took home the Best Actress award from the 2012 Rio International Film Festival for their film “Eden”. There will be specials on wine and drinks as well as music from DJ Slim.
