Thursday's Rio Nightlife Pick - Barão Vermelho is on stage at Circo Voador in the heart of Lapa. This classic Brazilian band returns to celebrate thirty years of success and rock 'n roll. Considered one of the most influential bands of the 1980's generation, Barão Vermelho began as garage band, founded by members Maurício Carvalho de Barros and Flávio Augusto Goffi Marquesini, who enjoyed playing cover hits from the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin.
