Tuesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – It’s time to celebrate the season as Dr. Morphy returns to Lagoa’s Praia Club tonight for a special holiday edition.
DJs Aian, Magghu, de Luca and Deaster will spin throughout the night and promotions for the event will include two for one on various drinks each hour.
Caipirinhas will be two for one from midnight to 1AM. Any two drinks will be two for one from 1AM to 2AM. Budweiser will be two for one from 2AM to 3AM. Jägermeister from 3AM to 4AM and two for one vodka from 4AM to 5AM.

Tonight at Lapa Irish Pub, it’s time again for the Portuguese/English language exchange. Set up like speed dating, native English speakers will be paired with native Portuguese speaker at tables. The pairs will then speak English for five minutes followed by Portuguese for five minutes. After those ten minutes, each speaker will move on to a new table and conversation partner. It’s both fun and educational and the R$10 entrance cost includes free food.
