RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Minister Romay said that "in 2015, national electricity coverage reached 86.5% of the population and it increased to 93.5% in 2019. In the urban area it rose from 97.3% in 2015, to 99% in 2019; and in the rural area from 70.1% to 79.9% in the same time frame."
