RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In the domestic air segment, the August R$197 (US$37) million revenue is still 53.47% below the same month in 2019. In hotels, the drop stands at 39.96%, to R$123 million.
The highlight is in car rental, the modal that suffered the least during the pandemic. If compared to 2019, domestic sales were 6.8% higher in August 2021, reaching R$14 million according to the Brazilian Association of Corporate Travel Agencies (ABRACORP).
