Brazil’s e-commerce hits record with US$10.1 billion in sales in first half of 2021

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - E-commerce broke sales records in the first half of 2021 and reached R$53.4 (US$10.1) billion in revenues. The result represents a 31% increase over the same period last year.

The half-year result was driven by the 22% increase in the average sale, which reached R$534. Moreover, there was a 7% increase in the number of orders, which reached the 100 million mark.
