City of Rio de Janeiro extends restrictive measures until May 10th

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The city of Rio de Janeiro has decided to extend restrictive measures against Covid-19 until May 10th. The rules for operation and permanence in public places are the same as provided by decree on Friday, April 23.

The permanence of people on beaches and trade in these areas is still forbidden on weekends and holidays, being allowed only on weekdays. People are also banned from remaining on the streets from 11 PM to 5 AM every night.

The city has also maintained the ban on nightclubs, discos, and entertainment venues.
