Expo Paraguay-Brazil Business Roundtable breaks historic record

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – “Business expectations of previous years, which reached around US$70 million, were widely surpassed,” said the Paraguay-Brazil Chamber of Commerce vice-president Oscar Mersán de Gasperí.

He emphasized that the amount reached in this edition is a historical milestone, considering that the expo was held online, on a high-tech platform facilitating interaction among participants, creating business opportunities and global access through any electronic device.

The Paraguay-Brazil expo featured a virtual exhibition hall, where participants visited over 150 stands with products and services, attended high-level conferences and took part in a business roundtable comprising 250 entrepreneurs from the two countries’ industries and services, with the aim of promoting agreements between the parties.

The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC), through the Investment and Export Network (Rediex), organized by the Paraguay-Brazil Chamber of Commerce, and was held last week, from Tuesday, October 19 to Thursday, October 21.
