Federal Supreme Court Justice Lifts Bolsonarist Deputies’ Banking Confidentiality

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Federal Supreme Court (STF) Justice Alexandre de Moraes yesterday ordered the lifting of banking confidentiality of congressional deputies from President Jair Bolsonaro's support base.

The decision was made as part of an investigation into anti-democratic activities, and aims to determine whether deputies financed the rallies calling for the closure of the National Congress and the Supreme Court. The information was released by GloboNews and CNN Brasil.
