Gasoline price increases in Brazil for 4th consecutive week; up 35.5% year-on-year

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The National Petroleum Agency (ANP) on Friday, September 17, reported that the average price of a liter of gasoline in Brazil stands at R$6.076 (US$1.15) in the week between September 12 and 18.

Compared to 4 weeks AGO, when the liter cost R$5.982, there was a 1.57% increase. Compared to last week (from September 5 through 11), the increase was 0.2%. Year-on-year, gasoline has climbed 35.5%, according to ANP.

In 3 states, the price of a liter of gasoline is still higher than R$7 . . .
