Government Releases R$223.8 Million for Emergency Assistance and Receiving Venezuelans

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - President Jair Bolsonaro issued on Tuesday (30th) a provisional measure to release R$223.8 million for emergency assistance and receiving Venezuelan citizens.

As it is a provisional measure, the release of resources is enforced by a law published in the "Official Gazette". As of now, the National Congress has up to 120 days to approve the measure. If the text is not approved in the period, it will lose effectiveness.
