Group plans to invest US$144 million in solar plants in Brazil’s Minas Gerais

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Linked to the solar energy sector, AXS Energia recently opened its operations in Minas Gerais and plans to invest R$750 (US$144) million in solar plants in the state. The first unit under construction is located São Gonçalo do Sapucaí.

In August, construction of two more will begin in the towns of Passos and Prata, and by the end of the year at least 5 plants will be operating in the state; a further 30 units are planned by 2023 in Minas Gerais and other federal states.
