Haiti faces new crisis after kidnapping of group of missionaries, mostly Americans

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Haiti's fragile government faces a new crisis Sunday (17) after a group of missionaries and their relatives, mostly Americans, were kidnapped by an armed gang near Port-au-Prince on Saturday.

There was little official reaction in Haiti, and local police did not immediately respond to an AFP request for comment.
