RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The market forecast for inflation this year has come closer to 7% in the Focus Report released on Monday by the Central Bank.
The weekly survey indicated that the IPCA projection for 2021 is now for a high of 6.79%, against 6.56% the week before, exceeding the 5.25% target even further. For 2022 the projection increased by 0.01 percentage point, to 3.81%.
