Over 60% of adult Brazilians administered first Covid-19 vaccine dose

The data also show that 35.9 million people have been administered the second dose or the single dose and have completed their immunization cycle.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Ministry of Health on Monday, July 26, announced that Brazil has surpassed the mark of 60% of its population partially vaccinated against Covid-19 - only the eligible population is included in the count, i.e., people over 18 years of age.

"More than 96 million Brazilians, of the 160 million over 18 years of age, have been administered their first vaccine dose nationwide," the Ministry celebrated.

The data also show that 35.9 million people (22.4%) have been administered the second dose or the single dose and have completed their immunization cycle.
