Peru and Bolivia agree to create binational cabinet to advance common agenda

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The two presidents have announced an agreement to form a binational cabinet between the two countries' cabinet councils to meet later this year.

"In a meeting with our brother president of Peru Pedro Castillo, we advanced in the negotiations to implement the Peru-Bolivia Binational Cabinet. We will work in committees to define details of this important meeting," Arce explained on Twitter.

Arce met with Castillo on Saturday, on the occasion of his presence at the summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) held in Mexico.
