RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The city of Rio de Janeiro has authorized people and businesses to remain on the city's beaches on all days, including weekends and public holidays.
The curfew on the streets from 11 PM to 5 AM has also been lifted. The new measures will be in force until May 20th.
The restrictive measures had been in place since March, in order to contain the Covid-19 pandemic, but expired . . .
