RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On Sunday, August 16th, Mayor Marcelo Crivella announced that phase 5 of the plan to relax social isolation measures in the city would be extended for a further 15 days.
The city hall stated that Covid-19's indicators in Rio are favorable, within normal and under control for what was expected at this time. However, the restrictive measures are being maintained.
