RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A couple was detained Friday night at Tom Jobim International Airport in Rio de Janeiro, trying to board to Belgium carrying 20 kilos of cocaine.
The drugs were hidden in double bottoms and bottles of shampoo and creams, reports G1 on its online newsfeed.
Federal Police agents found the drugs during a routine inspection of the luggage through x-ray equipment. Three suspicious suitcases led to a search for the owners, who were scheduled to fly to Brussels.
