Tourism in Brazil Creates Approximately 25,000 New Formal Jobs in 12 Months

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Tourism in Brazil generated a net 24,902 formal jobs in the 12 months ending in October of this year, an increase of 330 percent over the immediately preceding 12 months, which ended in October 2018.

The data are from the National Confederation of Trade in Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC) survey, based on data from the General Registry of Employees and Unemployed (CAGED), released yesterday, December 20th.
