Twitter jokes after Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp crashed; brands react

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On Monday afternoon, October 4, Twitter used its platform to joke about the crash of social media apps earlier in the day. The account posted a message that read: "Hello to literally everyone."

The post prompted numerous interactions.

In turn, a number of brands decided to react to the post and joined in the fun: Warner Bros and CBS wrote that it was "a nice move" by the platform, while brands like Reddit, OnlyFans, Xbox and Alexa greeted the social network.

Instagram and WhatsApp accounts also interacted with Twitter. While the messaging app replied only "hello . . .
